Scaffolding training 2 to 9 meters

General scaffolding training meets the requirements for scaffolding with work height up to 9 meters. The purpose of this training is to increase the knowledge and awareness of the participant, and to ensure a safe working environment. Fall accidents are the most common cause of death in the construction industry. This is one of the reasons why educated scaffolders are necessary. The Swedish Work Environment Authority has introduced penalties for all companies that violate the education requirement.

Who is the course for?

The training is aimed at anyone who builds changes or dismantles positions up to 9 meters and other concerned managers, supervisors and team bases who lead or supervise the work must have at least the same level of education.

What does the legislation say?

The Working Environment Act (1977: 1160)

According to the Work Environment Act, the employer must make sure that the employee has the training needed and knows what he has to observe to avoid the risks at work.

Positions (AFS 2013: 04 § 47)

According to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations, anyone who erects, substantially changes or dismantles a position must have training in scaffolding work. The Swedish Work Environment Authority has introduced penalties for all companies that violate the education requirement.

Documentation - certificate of education

After passing theoretical exams, a diploma is issued to the participant.

Previous knowledge
