Sedan 1 januari 2025 gäller dessutom skärpta krav i Arbetsmiljöverkets föreskrifter:

Fall Protection Training – Safety at Heights
Working at height always involves risk – but with the right knowledge, accidents can be prevented. Falls are the leading cause of fatal accidents in the construction industry. This course in fall protection provides both the theoretical understanding and the practical skills needed to work safely, prevent accidents, and maintain a secure working environment – every day, at every height.
This training is designed for everyone working on roofs, scaffolding, or other elevated areas – as well as for supervisors, safety representatives, and managers responsible for workplace safety. The course also includes essential knowledge on evacuation and rescue from height, making it particularly valuable for those who plan, manage, or oversee work at height.
According to the Swedish Work Environment Act (Chapter 2, Sections 4–7), employers must inform workers about existing risks and ensure they receive proper training and equipment to perform their tasks safely.
Since 1 January 2025, the Swedish Work Environment Authority has introduced stricter regulations that emphasize safe practices when working at height:
AFS 2023:1 – Systematic Work Environment Management: Requires employers to identify, assess, and eliminate all risks, including fall hazards.
AFS 2023:10 – Risks in the Work Environment: Clarifies that personal fall protection must only be used as a last resort when collective protection is not reasonable or practical.
AFS 2023:13 – Risks in Certain Types of Work: Specifies that fall protection is required when working at a height of two meters or more.
AFS 2023:11 – Work Equipment and Personal Protective Equipment: Requires employers to provide training and hands-on instruction in the use, care, and inspection of fall protection equipment.
No previous experience or knowledge is required – the course is suitable for both new and experienced professionals.
Laws and regulations (AFS 2023:1, 10, 11, 13)
The Safety Hierarchy – collective protection before personal protection
Employer and employee responsibilities
Fall protection systems and product categories (including AFS 2023:9)
Personal fall protection equipment and anchorage
Ergonomics, maintenance, and daily inspections
Risk assessment and rescue planning
Practical evacuation and rescue exercises
Final written test
